All employees are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect while at work and when representing the business in any capacity outside of work.
“An insightful and powerful training tool that gives a solid background to our responsibilities regarding Equality, Diversity & Inclusivity.”
Roger Wells, Operations & Compliance Director
Why Is Go Green Doing it?
Go Green began to cultivate a healthy business culture when the company was made up of just a handful of employees, and we wanted to guarantee that this continued through to our current standing of over 100 employees. As a responsible business, we wanted to ensure our staff have equal opportunities, recognise diversity within the company and share an inclusive role in Go Green where they feel valued.
The aim of this training is to provide guidance on what equality, diversity and inclusion is, and to enable employees to take responsibility for maintaining this culture within the business. It will also assist maintaining Go Green’s safe working environment, promote a diversified workplace, support new recruitment, and allow for mutual respect from, and for, each of our employees.
Who Receives the Training?
In May 2022, Go Green started rolling out our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training to all employees, including managers and directors. The training is now included, as standard, within all new employee inductions and will be refreshed on a 12-monthly basis. Moving forwards, we will be liaising with our supply chain to discuss their participation within this training, as well as delivering to our customers as part of our social value delivery.
“I thought the EDI training was very refreshing…it also provided food for thought, we all have a responsibility within the workplace to maintain a fair, respectful culture that we all feel safe in, and this will naturally build confidence between colleagues so we can all grow and develop together.”
Haley Coggan, Business Development Manager

“I thought the training was well delivered, it made you really think about all aspects of your life and how, even unconsciously, you can make an assumption about someone and the impact it can have – it made me think about how I treat people…”
Rachel Cartwright, Purchase Ledger Assistant
