How Our SupplyChain
Team Keeps Us Moving

26th January 2026

At Go Green, delivering reliable, compliant and cost-effective waste solutions starts long before a collection takes place, it starts with our Supply Chain team.

Led by Andrew, our Head of Supply Chain, who works closely with our Head of Procurement, Elliott Woodcock, the team is responsible for managing the full supply chain journey, from auditing and initial grading, through to ongoing supplier relationships and pricing agreements. In simple terms, Supply Chain is the link that helps ensure we have the right partners and the right processes in place to deliver for our customers day in, day out.

Andrew’s approach to the role is rooted in operational understanding and a strong foundation in supply chain and logistics. With experience across both, he brings together the practical realities of service delivery with the strategic thinking needed to strengthen supplier performance and resilience.

Supporting Go Green’s Strategy

As Andrew puts it, “Our supply chain is Go Green’s function.”

That focus sits at the heart of what we do: creating waste management solutions that are efficient, cost effective, and – crucially – fully compliant.

Whether it’s ensuring supplier standards are met, maintaining strong working relationships, or securing competitive and sustainable pricing, the Supply Chain team plays a key role in protecting service quality and consistency across the business.

Priorities for the Next 12 Months

Looking ahead, Andrew has set out three clear priorities for the Supply Chain function:

  • Growing a new division to complement our other service areas and strengthen delivery capability.
  • Increasing the number of platinum and gold primary suppliers, developing existing relationships and bringing new suppliers on board where appropriate.
  • Developing the Supply Chain team, building on proven methods and introducing new ways of working to support future growth.

What This Means for Customers

For our customers, a strong supply chain means confidence that collections and services are supported by the right partners, that standards are consistently met, and that delivery remains dependable even when circumstances change.

By continuing to strengthen our supplier network and relationships, the Supply Chain team helps ensure we can provide:

  • Reliable service continuity, backed by vetted, trusted supply partners.
  • Strong compliance and governance, supporting duty of care and customer assurance.
  • Cost-effective solutions, achieved through robust pricing and supplier management.
  • Greater resilience, so we can respond quickly to operational challenges and changing requirements.

Ultimately, this work helps us keep our promise to customers: practical, compliant waste solutions delivered with consistency and care.
