International Week of Happiness

Last week, Go Green took the opportunity to go all out for International Week of Happiness (25th – 29th September 2023). Our employees got a weeks’ worth of happiness which included sweet treats, quiz galore and an overall thank you for helping Go Green continue to be such a positive and forward-thinking business. This was the 3rd year we have celebrated International Week of Happiness at Work and offers us as a business the opportunity to express our appreciation for our staff’s dedication and contribution to the business
Over the course of the week, our fantastic HR Apprentice and Social Value Coordinator assisted our HR department in creating the lineup:
Monday 25th – A game of Guess Who based on our Senior Leadership’s baby photos. Only 4 teams managed to figure out and were left waiting for the tie-break question at the end of the week.
Tuesday 26th – Scavenger Hunt! Working in teams, each departments had to complete a clue to allow the hunt to progress. Once the hunt was complete, the staff were treated to a very SWEET prize.
Wednesday 27th – Applicable to any Wednesday, Go Green’s Hump Day Heroes were nominated and awarded, categories included:
- The Living our Values Award
- The Ray of Sunshine Award
- The At-home Hustler Award
- The Snacker Award
- The People’s Choice Award
- The Life of the Party Award
- The Dancing Queen Award
- The Karaoke King Award
Thursday 28th – A week of happiness is nothing without a quiz, our Day 4 included a Positivity Work Quiz which was won by our wonderous Accounts team with a score of 18/18.
Friday 29th – To finish of a lovely week, the teams were treated to happy hour 2pm-3pm (non-alcoholic of course), and was followed by a thank you message from our Board of Directors.
